FAQs

Do you do custom pins?
Currently. I do not. I’ve put info on the contact page too, so please don’t email asking for quotes on custom pins there! This may change in the fureu (but if it does, I’ll make a big song-and-dance about it!)

How many of each pin are made?
Generally, 100. Some of the best-sellers may have been brought back for several runs, though.

How long does shipping take?

I ship the pins every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. They are put in the next days’ first post. It usually takes 3-4 working days within Ireland, but during the Christmas period, it can take 1-2 days longer.

If you have purchased tracked shipping, you should be able to track your post through the An Post tracking portal.

International shipping times will vary depending on your local carrier. Generally they take about 1-2 weeks within the EU/Britain and about 2-3 weeks for the Americas/Australia etc. The Christmas period can drastically alter these timeframes.

What’s the difference between tracked and untracked shipping?
Tracked Shipping is, well, tracked. If your tracked package gets lost, it can be reissued once An Post confirm that it has been lost. Untracked shipping is the cheaper option, but if your package is lost, you will need to contact An Post directly to resolve the issue. Proof of mailing will available for all untracked packages if required, however you will need to make me aware that you need this ahead of it being posted!

Will the pins damage my jacket / bag etc.?

The pins are attached by poking a metal pin through fabric and it’s attached via a rubber/metal clasp. This will create small holes. These are generally unnoticeable on rugged items like bags or winter jackets, however they may be apparent on finer fabrics.

If something is out of stock, will it come back?
If something is listed as out of stock online and is still visible in the store, yes, it will be returning. If you’ve seen something in the store before and it’s not visible now, the chances are it’s gone for good. If you’ve any questions, you can always get in touch.

When did Deadly.ie start
I started selling pins on Deadly back in 2020. Prior to that, I used the domain as a way to show off my photography portfolio.

How many people work at Deadly?
Just me!

Sometimes my wife Siobhan, or my niece Ella will help out putting pins on the backing cards during busy times, but everything else is by yours truly. (I’m so great. You should buy my pins.)
