You know the meme, now you can stick it on your jacket. This is an updated version of the original design!
This is a moving pin. Essentially, it’s two pins, one overlaid onto another with a sliding mechanism underneath. Homer forms the sliding part and he’ll appear and disappear when the tab (or his stomach!) is moved.
It’s 40mm wide, 33mm tall and made with hard enamel. There are two pins on the back to keep it in position, both with yellow rubber clutches.
The previous version of this pin was a tilt-pin. It worked as intended, but people wanted to be able to manually produce Homer without looking like a bleedin’ tick. So, this updated version has a tab that allows for homer to pop out - and he can then be manually pushed back inside too!
The previous version was larger, which some felt was to heavy on the lapel or bag. This one is slimmed down. It was 45mm, but it’s now 40mm at the widest point (not including the tab when extended!).
