Where to buy enamel pins ONLINE

whERE TO BUY ENAMEL PINS ONLINE

If you’re looking to buy some enamel pins online, great news you’re in the right place (Literally, I sell them on my homepage.) That said, if you’re looking for a wider selection of pins, I have that covered too. I’ve broken them down by the size of the company, so you can shop big or support small local businesses.

The Big Pin Companies

These guys are behemoths. Most are not known for making pins primarily, but these companies are so big that most have a dedicated team that pump out pins.

  • Funko Say what you want about them, but Funko’s pin range is exceptional. They’re the licensed from loads of major brands and they do a lot of fun stuff with them too.

  • Disney. Disney are not the most popular company currently, but they release weekly pins and the quality is exceptional. I own quite a few and they are all flawless. You can also trade them in the parks.

  • Etsy Etsy has thousands of pins. It doesn’t make any itself, but it is where you’ll find lots of smaller companies’ piece all in one place. Just a major heads up, the place has been swimming in cheap and dropshipped pins for a while now. If you don’t know how to spot them, you could end up paying a lot more for a knock off or drop-shipped pin

  • Temu / Aliexpress / DH Gate etc: Speaking of Knock-offs, you can get a load of cheap tat over on these sites. You’ll find lots of poor quality versions of popular pins there and you’ll pay very little for them. It’s always tempting to find a bargain, but the quality control is appalling and ninety-nine times out of a hundred, you’ll end up with a rubbish pin that you’ll inevitably throw away. Also, most of the designs on these sites are stolen. Find the original artist and support them instead.

Mid Sizes Shops

These are the success stories of pin sellers. Most started off selling one-or-two, and they grew into something bigger altogether. Almost all my favorites are to be found here.

  • Little Shop of Pins Lots of fun pins here and they’re licensed stuff from Mattel and Jim Henson to name but two.

  • Strike Gently Arguably the biggest name on the list. They’ve a huge amount of pins, they constantly add new stuff to their range, their Instagram page is often hilarious and they have great offers with most orders. They even do really weird blankets, too.

  • Inner Decay Another of my personal favourite stores. It has, in my eyes, the best mixture of smart, silly and interactive pins online.

  • High-Five Pins A huge range of Excellent quality pins, although shipping can be pricey to Europe.

  • PinTrill An excellent collection of officially lisenced pins from the likes of Keith Haring, Moomin and more. They also make exceptionally good locking pin backs.

  • Make Heads Turn This Lithuanian-based store sells a huge range of soft enamel and 3D pins that have been worn by the likes of Billie Eilish. They also seem really nice online, too.

  • Mink Superstore (AKA Martha Hegarty) Simply GORGEOUS pins. From High Art to Scampi fries, Mink has a wide range of pin offerings, and they’re all delivered with jaw-droppingly beautiful packaging. Highly recommended by me!

  • Alum & Ink Some of the most beautiful, dainty and elegant pins can be found here.

  • Mad Genius Collective is where you’ll find ridiculously intricate pins. They’re beautifully unique and they’ll stand out on any collection board or coat.

  • Clay Graham Art a huge eclectic mix of pop culture pins can be found here. The quality is insanely good too. Lots of them could be described as ‘IYKYK’, which is a great sign to me. Wear your weirdness and attract fellow weirdos with a pin from here.

  • Strange-Ways has some hilarious and bizarre photorealistic pins on their site, as well as a collection of beautiful and highly wearable pins.

Irish Shops

The big head on yeh. If you’re looking for more pins from other Irish companies, here are some of my favourites.
Note: Not all of these companies make their own pins!

  • Aoife Crawley Art She’s known for her unreal Brat Bríde scarves, but she also has a host of stickers, totes and unreal enamel pins on her website too. Delivery is fast, the product is gorgeous and Aoife is a ridiculously pleasant person too

  • The Collective is based at 24 Dury Street, Millet Wade’s solid brass pins are a high end edition to any jacket.

  • Dublin Only As the name might suggest, this website is only for Dubs. You’ll find a small range of Dublin GAA pins, including the Sam Maguire over there.

  • The EPIC Museum The EPIC museum is well worth a visit if you’re in the city, but their online store is also home to 9 Arrow’s range of pins, while she’s on Maternity leave.

  • Gael Design Store A shop of Republican, GAA and FAI pins. Great quality and fast delivery.

  • Gael Linn Some fáinne and a gorgeous ‘cúpla focal’ pin here for the Gaeilgeoir.

  • Hellfish Trading Based in the Bullring Market in Wexford, they don’t have an onkine store, but their stalls are a sight to behold.

  • Hue Complete Me A small, but broad collection of pins can be found here, including the ability to make your own pin card!

  • Maktus have a store in the Georges St Arcade, so if you’re looking to grab them in town, they’re perfect. They’ve a selection of pins, but they’re not updated as regularly as other companies.

  • MusicMaker If like me you spent your teenage Saturday afternoons in MusicMaker playing awful riffs on incredible guitars, you might like picking up a pin of their storefront (or their logo) online here.

  • Project 29 These are based in Stoneybatter and a lot of their pins aren’t online. They’ve a nice collection of them at the till in-store (including pieces by Yours Truly!)

  • Rothlú Handmade brooches in a variety of styles, shapes and sizes are here. These are high-end and very impressive pieces.

  • Rudaiolla A new discovery to me as I was making this list, but there is a very small collection of very elegant and sweet pins right here.

  • Sinn Fein Bookshop The only Irish political party to sell it’s own pins, Sinn Fein’s book store obviously sells a lot of republican pins (most notably, “STILL an unrepentant Fenian Bastard), but also pins for Palestine and the Basque region too.

  • Wall Hello! You’ll find many of these pins in Designist opposite the Georges St Arcade, but here’s where you’ll find some of their class pieces online.

What did i miss?

Drop a comment below with any stores that might be of interest and I’ll update the post above if I think it’s good enough!
